Bravo for the Farmer's market managers for keeping a truly local product, and shame on the WSFMA for discriminating against a business based arbitrarily on the business's legal structure. Great Harvest buys their wheat directly from farmers and mills their own flour right in the store for God's sake! They buy all of their ingredients from local suppliers and make everything by hand. How many so-called "local" bakeries can trace the bag of wheat in their store back to the field it was grown on like Great Harvest can? How many "local" bakeries use mixes, or frozen dough? Great Harvest uses none of that - they are 100% made from scratch. Great Harvest embodies the true spirit of locally-made, fresh-from-the-farm food. The WSFMA really has their head up their you-know-what.
